What’s in store for May?

For the past 3 months i’ve consistently hit the $1k+ figure. It’s not all about money but if i can sustain that over the summer i won’t need a real job, plus i’ll be able to spend all my time online - developing my sites and promoting them.

BeerChief is coming soon and so far i have to say it’s looking good, we’re pleased with the work done so far. Everything going to plan, it will be complete by the end of the month.

But that, coupled with my London break away, means i’ll be walking a fine line financially so that’s why i need to keep hitting the $1k+ figure per month just to keep me ticking over.

On the plus side, i’m now finished college (bar a few exams). That gives me loads more free time to work online. I’m now sitting in front of dual monitors and a powerful XPS computer so that will speed up my work greatly.

It’ll allow me to do more photo & video editing which i could never really do on my laptop. May will be a case of getting used to my new set up and trying to find some sort of regular ‘working’ pattern to get in to. It will set me up nicely for the summer ahead.

So what can i do to earn money online in May? I’m sure i’ll think of something, after all i’ve wrote a few books on the subject ;-)

Having got 100% in my last xhtml exam & a similar mark in a CSS exam, perhaps it’s time i started slicing and coding a few themes for myself now that i’m starting to get the hang of it

I can build up some experience, confidence and hopefully a decent portfolio… that will give a safety net of income should i need it. There are always people looking for valid CSS & XHTML coders.

The ability to custom design, code and maintain a website would be the ultimate money maker for me, given my experience in finding domains and carving out niches for myself.

Don’t be surprised to see May’s income drop, even if my work rate increases. It’s all about the long term :-)
