I was banned from Adsense in May.
Since then, i’ve struggled to replace it with another CPC network (cost per click). However, i’ve still managed to earn a few bucks online and in fact, surpass some monthly adsense earnings.
Why? Well, mainly it’s down to Text-Link-Ads. Since i joined in February, i’ve consistently earned cash with them. Check out my payout record below; i can confirm August 07’s earnings with TLA will rise above July 07’s earnings.. so that makes it 6 months of steady progress.
All you need is a PR4 or higher website with a decent alexa rank; the ads will sell themselves. TLA requires PR4 sites or higher to maintain high quality opportunities for advertisers.. Normally i’d be against any move to shut out the majority, but in this case, their tough entrance requirements pay off.
Sure, there a guys like me, with a few pr3 sites (like this blog), that won’t get accepted into TLA. HOWEVER, doesn’t that then make us work harder to get a higher ranking? I’m on course for a PR5 with this blog and undoubtably, TLA have played a small part in the reason i decided to work hard on this blog.
So just a shout out to TLA, who’ve basically replaced my adsense earnings as my no.1 earner. I know people don’t like the fact they use google and alexa ranks to judge how good your site is, but when you look at it from their point of view, they need a neutral ranking system and lets face it, google rank and alexa rank are the biggest out there.

Its good to see that even though youve lost a potentially huge income source you are still finding ways to keep it up in other avenues

yeah it’s nice knowing adsense isn’t the only way of making money online.. hopefully this can give other people confidence and some sort of comfort if they ever get banned from adsense

I wonder about TLA, I’ve been signed up with them for ages, and they don’t seem interested. It says that they will recheck applications every month, but since one of my sites is PR5, Alexa 200,000 or so, they haven’t come back to me

i’d send an email off to them becky, i’m sure they’d be glad of a highly ranked site like that, after all they get a 50-50 split of revenue
they are my no.1 earner atm so definitely worth signing up..
i know from experience they don’t re-check sites like they say they do, but then again it’s probably an impossible taks with the amount of applications they get

Tell me more please? How r ppl making money from TLA (without me doing research on the net) lol yes.. im a bit fed up- So u said its also a type of advertisement? Hmm im very confused..

basically if you have a google pagerank of 4 or higher, you can join text-link-ads.. so you need a pretty high quality site.
text-link-ads have thousands of sites and advertisers.. advertisers pay $15+ per month for one text link on one site.
so for example, once this site develops further, i’ll register it with text-link-ads and advertisers can then buy links for $15. Just like the ‘top commentators’ over there>>>> which you feature on
