After months and month of speculation, Dimitar Berbatov has completed a move to Man Utd on transfer deadline day.

He was pictured at Old Trafford and has completed a medical… all that remains now is for it to be officially confirmed.
Good news for Utd fans like myself - Berbatov is very similar to Eric Cantona in his style of play and is just the sort of player Utd need as they haven’t had a big classy target man like this since Ruud Van Nistelrooy left in 2006.
A 4 pronged attack with Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez and Berbatov is going to be an absolute nightmare for defence to cope with
I predicted Utd would retain the league last season and go far in europe and i got it right… with Berbatov on board, it’s hard to see who’s going to stop Utd again this year.
I’ll be shocked if Utd end up with nothing this season as they are, without doubt, the best side in England at the minute and right up there with the best in Europe (it’s always too tight to call one side ‘THE best’ in europe).

It’s been a fantastic evening for me as a Man Utd fan…

The Champions League Final tonight had everything in it… goals, both sides dominating, shots hitting the post & crossbar, sendings off, extra time, penalty shoot out drama…
It was one of the great matches and finals and we’ll look back on it as the final that had everything. Chelsea were lack lustre in the first half, something i predicted. United were bright from the off and their passing was crisp and accurate. They took the lead through a Ronaldo header. Goal number 42 of the season for him.
That all changed though a minute before half time… Chelsea got lucky after the ball deflected of two Utd players in to the path of Lampard. Van der Saar slipped at the vital moment which gave Chelsea an undeserved equaliser right on half time.
Second half and both sides reversed roles. Chelsea dominated with the odd Utd attack. No goals however. In to extra time and it was 50-50… anyone’s game. Drogba stupidly got himself sent off for slapping Vidic in the face (WTF?!)
So then we come to the dreaded penalty shoot out. The first 4 penalties are tucked away. Up pops Ronaldo - mr goal machine. Misses. D.I.S.A.S.T.E.R.
The script was now written i thought… Ronaldo - the goal machine was the one who ‘lost’ it for Utd. We’re down to the last penalty now… Chelsea 4 Utd 4, and this penalty would win it for Chelsea. Up comes John Terry - Mr Chelsea. I had visions of Terry blasting it home in to the top corner and going up to lift Chelsea’s first ever Champions League. Fingers crossed, breath held and Terry runs up…
I’ve never loved a goal post so much in my life
So we’re all square now again.. we slot home a few more until all of a sudden the pressure is now on Chelsea… miss and Utd win. Tables turned.
Anelka pops up… Ex-Arsenal, Liverpool, City and Real Madrid man - 4 of Utd’s fierces rivals, now player with a 5th in Chelsea. Oh how i’d love it if he…..
MISSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Van Der Saar guesses right and shuts him out. Memories of ‘99 come flooding back… these sort of moments are priceless… they don’t come around often.
This is why we love football, and this is why Man Utd fans love Utd… ‘dramatic success’ are two words i’d associate with them. Anyway, League and European Champions 2008 - one of the great Utd sides and one of the great Utd nights!
