I’m off college this week – it’s a staff development week

So that means i’ll just be chilling out, sleeping in, watching TV, eating ice cream and on youtube all day. NOT

Come on, do you not know me by now? I can’t sit down for two minutes without thinking of internet related stuff. The eduardo post was a classic example. I ended up blogging about it, buying 2 domains and creating work for myself over a tackle in a football match i happened to be watching in my ‘leisure’ time

Anyway, tomorrow, i plan to revamp theleavingcert.com, or certainly get the bulk of it sorted. I’ve found a wonderful new theme that would suit it perfectly so it’s just a case of importing all the old stuff in to it from joomla (probably just copy/paste), and then looking at moving the forum over to wordpress or possibly just leave it as joomla but redesigning it to fit into the theme – if that’s even possible

I then have to get cracking on badtackle.com, do a bit of work on BeerChief requirements for a build, try to sell one or two more sites to push Febuary’s revenue over the $1500 aim i’ve set myself…

Then all the usual stuff – looking after my current blogs, keeping an eye on my ebook requests, replying to emails, trying to come up with more ideas, dream of becoming a millionaire

I won’t be sitting on my arse this week – that’s for sure. The main job is theleavingcert.com. Trying to make it better and easier to manage from my point of view, whilst improving SEO and keeping the old readership intact.

I’ve been offered about $300+ for it, so i have to first and foremost, not de-value it So that’s the big one this week. I need to turn it in to a profitable, quality site which is well optimised and has stats installed to monitor it’s performance.

I’d hate to sell this site to someone who doesn’t care about it or doesn’t understand the niche so for that reason, it’s highly unlikely i’ll be selling anytime soon as (a) i would need an Irish buyer (b) i would be looking for quite a bit for it (c) i won’t get quite a bit for it until i have cold hard stats and figures
