I get a lot of people asking me about traffic.. i suppose it’s nice to know the stats once in a while..

Anyway, here’s a couple of screenshots.. not much can be said, the screenshots speak for themselves.. notice how traffic increased once i went full time and left my job.. traffic is basically at 70 unique hits a day now and about 130 page views a day. Approx 20% of that traffic is organic (from search engines).

About 50% of traffic is returning traffic, so that’s probably the most encouraging statistic for me.. people aren’t just stumbling across this blog and forgetting about it; 50% are coming back. My main source of traffic is Irish, followed by the US and UK with Canada in 4th spot.

Obviously traffic plays a huge part in any site’s success, but at the minute i’m just concerned with building content. I know as a general browser, i probably wouldn’t boomark this site unless it had a PR5 and a steady 3/4 posts per day of decent quality. So at the minute, that’s what i’m working towards…
