severing ties with theleavingcert.com

I’ve been talking about selling theleavincert.com for a while and decided now was the time to do it. It’s crushing all competition in google for leaving cert related keywords and getting over 200 uniques per day at the minute. On Wednesday, it got 400.

For those of you who don’t know, it was my first real website, which i put up in August 06. 95% of the content is written by myself.

I’ve taken a hammering over certain articles but that’s part and parcel of having an opinion I stand by everything that i’ve written and 100% believe certain subjects are more bluffable than others.

If the naysayers think they know better, i’d love to see them create a site, pay for hosting, domains etc… and maintain it That’s the problem… again an Irish problem. These guys don’t understand that if they want something done right, they have to do it themselves. Bithcing and moaning and trying to chop other people down ain’t gonna help things

If you don’t like a site, don’t like the content and think you can do better - DO IT then…. go on… put your money where your mouth is!

So for those reasons, i’ve decided to sell theleavingcert.com. It’s another burden off my shoulders and allows me to use the cash towards a new dedicated server for BeerChief
