Selling spree begins

I never like selling any of my sites but this week i’ll be doing just that.
Sure, i like getting money but selling a site is in many ways ‘failing’. It means a number of things;
- I couldn’t be arsed updating/developing it.
- I need the cash quickly for other more important stuff.
- I realise it’s never going to work and hope someone else doesn’t realise that.
- I lack workrate and ambition, confidence etc..
All are just fancy terms for ‘failing’. But it’s an integral part of success - failing. In order to create a successful site, you must first make the mistakes and learn from them. I can certainly say i’ve done that.
Spamming doesn’t work, nor do paid links or buying traffic. Trying to make money on static content is also asking for trouble. Most importantly keeping people (& search engines!) happy involves fresh content and change. That’s the biggest lesson i’ve learnt.
Hit and run tactics will only get you so far when it comes to making money online. Ebooks are what i’d call ‘hit and run’ and they worked for me but it’s short term income, nothing solid, nothing future proof and if all i did was write ebooks to make a living, i’d pack it in pretty quickly as that sort of stuff i view as stepping stones on my way to bigger things.
Out of the bullet points listed above, number 2 is undoubtably the biggest factor in this latest selling spree. I think that’s acceptable… it’s the only one that’s acceptable. If i slip in to any of the rest i’m in trouble. If i had a clear schedule and no BeerChief to look after, i’d definitely be trying to clean up my small sites but as things stand, i don’t have the time for them, plus i need the cash so it makes sense to sell, sell, sell.

Yeah see, you may already be aware, I chipped a good lot off my two front teeth when I was a kid. The root/nerve died so they naturally discolour. I need 2 crowns @ €750 each and then €600 for all my teeth to be bleeched to get the perfect colour.
Yeah it’s a killer, but I woke up on one of days when I look in the mirror and see and ugly c*nt staring back. So that’s what got me motivated lol!
But in reality, im really just a sexy bastard ya’know!
I’m pushing my sites 24/7, so be prepared for the launch soon!
Can someone roughly estimate how many visitors I’d need a month to earn €500 (assuming I have ads placed, of course!)

you’ll get absolutely hammered for that question if you ask it on forums… ‘you’ll get a how long is a piece of string’ answer…
imo, assuming a 1% CTR and €0.10 per click payout, you’d need 100 views to get 10c, 1000 views to get €1.
So 500,000 pageviews to earn €500…. probably 100,000 unique visits at least.
Sounds like a lot but depending on what sort of site you have it’s do-able… also depends how hard you promote it. You could venture in to affiliate marketing either…
