hosting a/c for 1 year: €60
10 domains @ $4 each: $40
sharethegame.com: bought for $35
competitions of sites : €20
investment in syndicate project : $350
total in €’s roughly: €400
total in $’s roughly : $531
pretty steep considering i’m 19. It’s a drop in the ocean though compared to my long term plans. I plan to have invested about $3000 by June ’07 in various different projects. For that sort of cash, i’d hope to own a few profitable sites, be partnering on a few sites plus acting as an investor to other sites. Basically, i’ll try to diversify my ventures as much as possible so that i won’t be relying on one site or one project as my main source of income. Speaking of income…
revenue:
$62.13 since 1st August ’06, it’s now mid December ’06. Say $62 in 30 weeks – average of $2.06 a week.
all of that however is from adsense and from only theleavingcert.com
but at this stage, i’m not concerned with revenue… it’s building up a network of quality sites which concerns me. Once i’m happy with all of my sites, i’ll then begin to advertise more, drive more traffic to them and ultimately increase revenue.
some of my ideas are 100% viral marketing guaranteed (word of mouth advertising) so i’m hoping i can use one of those ideas to drive traffic to my other sites…
