pagerank for doing nothing

About 6-9 months ago, google decided to declare war on all blogs with any hint of paid or sponsored links that passed on Pagerank.

That meant of course, 90% of blogs out there were in trouble - mine included. At the time i refused to back down and remove any links, even though i knew i couldn’t win…. PayPerPost and Text-Link-Ads are virtually dead now compared to what they were this time last year.

We have google to thank for that of course… we’re now left with the aftermath… pagerank is unreliable and i cannot tell by looking at it how important a site is - that’s what it’s supposed to tell you.

Check out stupiddrivers.net - a domain i bought a few months ago, never put ANY content on it and i can’t even remember linking to it… it’s got a PR2, the exact same as this blog

According to google, it’s also not listed in it’s search engine plus it has no backlinks… So tell me google, why the hell does it have a pagerank of 2???

Anyway… i’m after installing wordpress on stupiddrivers.net and also on groundrage.com. I have logo’s designed for both of these sites and i’m sure i’ll be able to grab themes for them
