November 07 earnings

November has been a mixed month for me online.
On the plus side, i celebrated one year in blogging with a new custom blog design - something i believe will help differentiate me from other bloggers. I’ve also added some nice little touches to make my blog more attractive to you guys, such as the ‘you comment, i follow‘ plugin. I’ve also made sure it’s 100% css and xhtml valid.
I’ve also created a network of blogs which i’ve begun to update using a timetable and i have high hopes for these blogs and intend to sell then on within the next 2 months.
On the downside, my pagerank was stripped from me. I also made NO paid reviews in november. Not a single one.
Was this down to zero pagerank? It probably played a role, but even before i had my PR stripped, i did notice the lack of relevant opportunities at PPP and ReviewMe.
It’s disappointing, but then again PPP are going through major changes at the minute so it’ll be 3/4 months before the dust starts to settle on this paid link thing imo. The next pagerank update will be very important and we can probably expect that around January/February.
Anyhow, here’s the breakdown:
Text-Link-Ads: $41.17
WidgetBucks: $43.77
Total: $84.94 (-$27.97 on last month)
Slightly down on last month, but i’m not too worried… i’m slowly trying to test the waters in other areas, such as setting up and selling on sites. It’s perhaps the most profitable way of making money online, but then again it requires a hell of a lot of time and effort and ‘niche spotting’.

Insane that even though you don’t use AdSense anymore, Google still have power over earnings.
The paid review company should use their own algorhythm to decide on the worth of someone’s blog rather than depending on a biased third party. Sounds like a conflict of interests of Google’s part to me.

yeah that’s what i’ve been saying - basically google are going on the defence for the first time in their history..
ppp have just launched RealRank to fightback against pagerank - it’s their own ranking system which is working out quite well atm

Hi.
Do Widgetbucks pay for clicks from non USA visitors?

yeah, well they used to pay per click for international publishers, now they just pay peanuts per 1000 impressions, but i’m told things will improve
