My first full wordpress theme

A while back, i had a go at designing some wordpress themes. That went well.

But coding them didn’t. I had planned on getting back in to that, but become flooded with other work. But now i’ve managed to design and code the BeerChief blog. Not code from scratch, but take the bones of a free template and edit it to suit

It’s still not 100% complete… i have to add in a nice logo / text on the header, plus change the body colour scheme slightly and then add text to the footer etc… but it’s coming along nicely and will compliment the main BeerChief site nicely.

It now means i should be able to code up those 3 templates i’d created before. All i need is a basic working css layout and i can take it from there… my other work has sort of been put on hold whilst BeerChief is being launched, but i’m still determined to learn how to design and code a wordpress theme from scratch

Once the dust settles on a BeerChief launch, i’ll try to set aside some time for theme making
