Some of you loyal smemon.com readers may have remembered my ‘managing myself‘ posts where i basically wrote out a list of things to to on a sunday night for the week ahead. That worked great. Mind you, i wasn’t as busy back then
Now, i find myself weighed down by college and assignments and crap. I’ve also just created 11 new websites and i intend to update them all twice a week.
Add in my other sites and this blog, and you’re looking at about 15 blogs which have to be looked after. That’s a monumental task for anyone. So i’ve devised a sophisticated plan of action.
I’ve created a timetable of when to update sites and when not to (see below). So 12 sites must be updated twice weekly (excluding this blog), but i can update no more than 4 each day other wise it gets too much and even i suffer from blogging burnout
I’ve given myself Saturday off as i don’t usually blog much on a Saturday due to the fact i’m with my girlfriend from about 8pm on Friday to 8pm Sunday.
It’s a huge ask. It means creating at least 6 blog posts PER DAY (4 on my new blogs, probably 2 on this) on a variety of different subjects. Even if it’s just embedding videos, it still takes time to find a video, title it, embed it, add tags etc.. so this will not be easy, even for a blogging machine like myself
If all goes to plan i’ll be churning out a minimum of 40 blog posts per week across my network of sites. Frightening thought.

Hope you haven’t bitten off more than you can chew!
I hope so too
But starting monday, i’ll stick to this timetable religiously and see how i cope. Blogging twice/thrice daily has become a habit for me on this blog, so i’m hoping if i can get in to the habit of tripling my posts, i’ll get used to it.
It’s all about time management and motivation. I don’t mind blogging, but when it comes to ‘what blog will i blog on today?’ i find myself heading to my favourite blogs and for this project to work, i need to be spreading my love across all my blogs
Good luck! Time management and sticking by the plan is key. Let me know if you need anything.

About how many visits do you a month. I have created my blog and am having trouble getting the word out.
about 3000 unique hits/month, pedro
it’s tough promoting a new blog, but just keep working and people will eventually come to you.
What kind of income do you see from this site? Just curious. Be a John Chow and throw a number out.
