So yesterday, after a pretty long period of nothingness, i churned out my first niche site in managefuel.com.
Today, i put it up for sale on sitepoint. A BIN of $297. Steep? Perhaps, but i did spend quite a bit of time working on it. It should fetch over $150 at least, so if things don’t go well i’ll drop the BIN.
Never content to settle with what i have, i’ve finished a second niche site - famousnerd.com. It has a bit more content, probably of a higher standard overall and the theme looks pretty slick i have to say 
All nice an AJAXy which i love.
So i guess i’m on a bit of a roll now… as i’ve said before, i have a few dozen of these sites to get up and running so i have my work cut out
In other news, looks like there’s a big cock up with my college registration. I *should* be allowed register for 2nd year, but i’ve been told i can’t until i get the results of my repeat maths exam. Other people in the same boat are allowed register 
I did ring them up today trying to explain the situation but didn’t get anywhere… i’ll be ringing again tomorrow and hopefully going up to register.

yeah jonny - they fucked up with my registration… i only failed one exam so i’ve been approved to progress, therefore should be allowed register…
if you have to repeat more than 1, you can’t register until you get your results…. i’ll ring them again today anyway and see if i can get anywhere… some of the lads have already registered yesterday/today!

Yeah it’s pretty retarded the way they have it! I dont even know about registering I only knew because i went onto their website to find im not getting my results ontill sep 11th and to come in immediately to resume class - like wtf what am i suppose to do when i come in.
Did you hear anything back from the grant offices?

i got my grant renewed - yeah… they’re usualy pretty good/quick in monaghan…
anyway, i have to go up today to register - despite being told yesterday i couldn’t register
god help you when you come in of sep 10th! they’ve sent out literally nothing to me either since my repeat exams - they should at least send out a letter explaining how things work!

I havent heard anything yet from my grant!
Did you get the same grant? They better give me the same and i better not have to pay an entrance fee or its bye bye from me!
Yeah its so freaking confusing! Especially with us being split up! Why cant they give me my results sooner! ANd its not good on the confidence to go into class 2 days later!

well i just got sorted out.. i’m registered now
yeah i got the same grant - did you send away for it again this year - i had to send in p21’s and a copy of my results…
you mightn’t get your grant as you could technically fail 2 subjects and have to repeat the year - im not sure what the story is with that…
i agree - it’s stupid getting the results 2 days after we go back - i mean it’s only 2 days - they could easily send the results out the day before we go back, at least that way you could attend!
worst case scenario - you have to pay the fee’s (€900) + a late registration fee of €150 = €1050! + you start back 2 days late. what a start that would be!

When you sent a copy of your results this was the same form you sent away 2 months ago right? I sent that back..
I can barely afford to get the bus to college nevermind that, couldnt even get a job this summer. If it comes down to not returning i’ll just come back to college when im older lol
