John Chow relegated to a PR5

I’m sure this won’t bother John much.. in fact, he’ll probably gain more link love out of it from bloggers like me blogging about how he’s been bitchslapped by google again :mrgreen:

John’s blog was removed from google SERPS a while ago, but funnily enough, it is still indexed :???: So this latest ‘attack’ on John’s ranking/SEO is further proof that if you try to mess with Google, there’s only going to be one winner :cool:

    So should the overall pr update be happening now also?

    perhaps, but i doubt it.. i’ve seen a few one off changes over the past few months.. i’d imagine they’re manually changed as it’s very rare one site in particular will change and no others if indeed there is a total update….

    It was only a matter of time. I have seen a few sites update their PR, so maybe it wasn’t a hand-picked PR edit, but rather a tiny change in the new algorithm. Only the big guys at google shall know.

    the sooner the update the better anyway; cause my blog is still at a page rank 0 and it makes me cringe when I see this cause I have loads of incoming links and over 80 links in Google…
