As part of siteflipu’s blog flipping competition, i’ve teamed up with 4 other bloggers to form listlunatic.com

I was happy to keep this one under wraps until we sold the site, but apparently all url’s will be disclosed so i may as well get some backlinks and traffic to the site ASAP

List Lunatic dot com was an idea i’ve had for some time. Basically, the blog will do nothing but create lists. Lists of what? Anything and everything. The rest of the guys liked the idea and so we rolled with it. Girish (one of my readers & team captain) came up with the name.

There’s now about 8 posts on the blog, we’ve built up a nice schedule / system of publishing too and that’s the way we want to keep it… almost like air traffic controllers lining up planes for landing, one after the other… we don’t want too many landing at the one time.

We have general rules and guides in place and even a little contract between ourselves to keep us all motivated. I’m definitely going to have fun with this and so are the other guys

The blog that sells for the highest amount within 45 days, gets not only the sale amount, but 10% of all the other team’s sale amount + $125 in entrance fees, so there’s quite a bit at stake (financially) for the winners. I reckon about $800/each at least for the winners.

You then have the spin off effects in backlinks and gaining new contacts and people you know you can work with and trust.

I’d imagine our project will be the most successful in terms of traffic. Hopefully we’ll gain subscribers and revenue too. If we get all three, we’ll be in a great position to win this thing
