I woke up at about 8am, having gone to sleep at about 3am.. 5 hours sleep. I’m used to that. Sure, i’m always wrecked getting up, but that’s the price i paid for having basically two full time jobs.
But today, i woke up, and said to myself -”YES! i don’t have to get up” and went back to sleep. I then woke again at 11.30 am – a nice self-employed time to wake up at
From 12pm-6pm it was work solid on the net.. blog posts, emails, checking site stats.. all the usual stuff. My BeerChief t-shirts arrived, so i posted a few pics of them, and then sent Adam on his t-shirt via post.. he should have it Thursday. At the end of the day, they’re just t-shirts, but it’s another step forward as far as we’re concerned. We’ll now raise a bit of curiosity around our local towns.
Ultimately the aim is to launch the site with instant traffic and viral effect. So the more people that know about BeerChief, the better.. hopefully they’ll sign up for updates and keep an eye on our blog. Once we have an exact launch date, we’ll then email /blog about it well in advance..
So i’ve done about 6 hours work today.. i’d imagine it will be around that figure every week day. The beauty is of course; i can suit myself. If i feel like going out for the day, i’ll go out for the day – just like that. No talking to anyone, no booking days off 2 weeks in advance.. if i feel like it, i can even go out and not come back for a few days
This is the life..
I’ve enough cash to get me by for a few months.. but i’m also well aware the honeymoon period will soon turn into a nightmare if i can’t get any cash in. So even though it’s all a big game to me now, reality will soon set in at this rate of going. But then again, i can flog my sites to raise one or two €€€€, so i’m not really in any immediate danger.. I’m 100% confident we can get results with BeerChief, so it’s just a case of getting by until that is launched.
