Finally cracked Auction Ads..

Posted on Wednesday, April 18th, 2007 at 11:26 pm

A few weeks ago, i signed up to Auction Ads in the hope of generating a few bucks extra from some of my tech sites.

I got fed up after i’d got 3000 impressions, over 1% CTR and ZERO revenue – not a single cent  i wasn’t impressed.

But today, i’ve earned my first 6c. Why? Because i’ve discovered their url converter. So you can basically browse about for super deals, get the auction url and paste it into auction ad’s url generator. It then pumps out some html code, with your affiliate ID hidden inside.

If anyone bids on the auction, you get cash. So THAT’s where the money is. Previously, i’d just used it like adsense – i’d picked my site’s genre, entered a few keywords and left it at that. AuctionAds then generated thousands of ads about digital cameras, batteries, memory cards etc..

But doing things manually – that’s where the money is. Thankfully, i had the time and patience to work at testing Auction Ads and stumbling upon this little trick. I’d imagine a lot of webmasters don’t know this as it’s not very well publicized in my opinion.

Here’s an example.. i found this bargain manually and put it through Auction Ads.. so if you bid on it, i’ll receive a few cent

2gb SD card €13.98 inc delivery

i’ll try testing this further and see what else i can come across.. but at long last, i’m now earning money with AuctionAds
