I know the biggest lesson i learned in 2007 was that happiness comes before money, but i happiness doesn’t buy food and a bed
My December 2007 earnings are pretty pathetic, not surprisingly… PPP on this blog has collapsed all together. I don’t check it regularly, if i did i’m sure i could scrape together a few sponsored posts but there’s no doubt the PR update has hit me. WidgetBucks also put the shackles on PPC international ads so that’s also a blow on last month.
TLA: $36.64
Nothing else worth talking about…
Anyway, i see the likes of Walsho and TheUniversityKid are kicking my ass in terms of money making (not that it requires much!), and are heading towards 4 figures a month, never mind 3 figures
I do however have a huge stockroom of domains and sites that WILL be sold at some stage so it’s not all doom and gloom on the money front… Yes i’m not making any sort of decent revenue in the short term, but i am slowly developing sites and letting domains mature, plus i’m forcing myself into working on one or two projects, so i’m very much fixated on long term revenue, rather than short term. A mixture of both would be ideal though.
My little network of blogs hasn’t quite received the love i’d planned, i guess Christmas/New Year has just sucked so much time away from me… but i’ve still managed to put together a few posts and i’m still confident i can sell them all for a healthy profit, possibly this month.
I can’t let the rookie’s above start kicking my ass. January 2007 must start with a bang and if it means making one or two big sales to bump up revenue, then so be it

I hear ya on the ppp front. My site had major money coming in, even if it was a personal site, and then the page rank was sucked out, but before Real Rank showed up, it wasn’t a problem.
Now it is a problem.
No ppp, no page rank, and no money.
The future looks bleak for me.
[...] – $15 Site Sales – $30 Sedo – $2 Total: $76.33 Ouch. It’s a big improvment on the $36.64 from December, but nowhere near the ‘bang’ i had planned on starting 2008 with. Now that the figures [...]
