It’s been a while since i’ve blogged about BeerChief.
The design work is now 100% complete. It’s all taken a little longer than we expected, but patience is crucial in this business.
Adam‘s work now begins on the coding and if necessary we’ll hire someone to help out.
Some of you have been kind enough to suggest some features you’d like to see in BeerChief and we’ll do our best to take all of that on board.
Still no launch date though, and i refuse to put ourselves under pressure by giving a date even though that would normally be my style when working on my own
But with BeerChief, we’ve got design work that has exceeded our expectations and we wouldn’t have got that had we not been patient and talked things through.
We’re also doing this on a shoestring budget so that’s why things are moving slowly. But as you can see from a collage of our design work, we’ve spent our cash wisely..
Ultimately, you will be the judge of that
We can only go by what we feel looks good, what works and what doesn’t. It’s all about personal opinion. The web 2.0 experts would probably frown upon our cluttered and extravagent design work, so in that respect, we’ve taken a risk by not sticking to a simple design. For example our logo is almost square in shape and has two different fonts, both contrasting colours; nothing like the simple rectangular shaped box with text you’ll find on most web 2.0 sites.
