Well im constantly banging on about how we’re going to deliver a ‘world-class’ website in BeerChief.
At long last, we’re starting to get some site designs which really fall in to that category. Some of them are absolutely breathtaking, stunning…
The work gone into some is unbelievable, it’s the sort of standards you’d expect from a multi-million dollar design company. Web 2.0 design is great and all that, but we’re beginning to turn our backs on it. We want to be bold, exciting, and above all else DIFFERENT.
With a really strong landing page, mixed with a beautiful site design, BeerChief will really raise the bar. Things are slow.. probably slower than i had initially invisioned when i thought up BeerChief.. but the quality cannot be denied. It is starting to become a work of art.
It won’t be sold. That’s for sure. I’ll see this through to the end. If you offered me $100k now, i’d refuse without a thought. It’s getting to the stage where i’m so excited by this project, money doesn’t really come in to it. To own a beautiful, successful, thriving community and prove that i’m capable of running it, is much more fulfilling than any amount of cash.
However, turning BeerChief into a business and making a living from it at my age – that would be the sort of stuff dreams are made of.
On a side note, my t-shirts have been printed and shipped out. I should have them mid – next week with a bit of luck. I’ve been super busy building a BeerChief shop and designing t-shirts, bags, thongs, teddy bears etc…
I’m hoping once BeerChief is launched, i can get a few family members to simply buy a t-shirt from the shop. It saves me time and hassle having to re-design them, buy them with my credit card, ship them all seperately etc… I have the option to gain commission from each sale, but no way would i do that. Anyone who buys something is promoting BeerChief and that’s the reward for me at the minute.
