another busy week ahead

This week was sort of messed up as i was away in London for 3 days.

Next week it’s all about BeerChief. I’m buying a dedicated server (well, renting one) either Monday or Tuesday, depending on when i get in to the bank to sort some cash out…

It will cost in the region of $130/month (Dedicated 2 package). Keep in mind we’ve already shelled out $10k plus we won’t be having ads on the site just yet, so it’s quite a massive gamble we’re taking. But a dedicated server will speed the site up plus ensure the site doesn’t go down under heavy traffic.

So if all goes to plan, we’ll have BeerChief on our server next week for the first time and we’ll then begin to mess about with it even further.

I have a list of 20+ modifications i want done, most of which we’ll be doing ourselves. We should get all of those done next week, at the very latest the following week, which leaves us nicely on course for a launch date sometime between 23rd-30th June.

The end is neigh my friends 18 months on and off in development, 533 emails exchanged between me and Adam (my co-pilot), $10k and counting investment and god knows how much spent in time

The bottom line is though, we have something to show for it all and something we’ll both be very proud of. Roll on June 23rd-30th
