I’ve spent the past 2 hours solid updating my advertise page. I’ve been meaning to do it for the past couple of weeks and it’s just one of those ‘dirty’ jobs you don’t want to do as it’s boring work, even if the end result may help generate some cash!

But i said to myself i’d get it done today and that’s exactly what i’ve done. I’ve added screenshots, made things more organized with bullet points and proper paypal subscription links etc…

I currently don’t have ANY ads on this new blog set up. I always planned on having some though and you’ll see 4 button ads appear in the sidebar soon.

I’ll also be adding in a new leaderboard ad just underneath the logo which will stretch the length of the blog. Due to the high profile location, it’s my most expensive ad slot @ $40/ month.

Even if i don’t ‘sell out’ every month, i’ll still be adding in my own ads or else running free giveaways like i’ve done before which gives something back to you guys.

Anyway, if you take a look at my screenshots of traffic and subscribers, you’ll see a pretty solid trend appearing over a long period of time (~18 months).

I’m now up to almost 5000 unique visitors per month plus an average of about 70 RSS subscribers… that’s quite a lot of attention for a personal blog, especially when you consider i haven’t really achieved anything yet… i’m just a college student still learning the ropes in how to build an online empire.

But i don’t think it matters what i am or what i’ve achieved to most people, so long as i’m relatively honest and open about things, which i feel i am on this blog. It goes back to the idea of reality TV – even if people are just sleeping, they will have viewers watching them

So if i keep myself busy and keep trying new things and sharing my day to day experience with you guys, there’ll always be people who will read.
