Another day, another pet project let out of it’s cage… this time it’s desktopsnaps.com. It’s a site which showcases desktops from developers, gamers, blogger etc… feel free to submit yours…
This was a name i bought a couple of years ago but never did anything with, so it’s always nice to finally get something up and running… the idea for the site was always a simple one and it hasn’t changed at all.
I wanted to showcase desktops from bloggers & gamers, developers etc… that’s something i’ve always been interested in. I like seeing pictures of workstations and desktops and i think you can tell a lot about people from them.
The only mark against this site is the name. What is a ‘desktop’? Is it a screenshot or is it literally a desk’s top? I’m not sure myself… it’s open to interpretation so i’ve allowed people to upload either.
All uploads are held for moderation and have to be approved but hopefully we can build up a nice collection of desktops and the people that own them… check out my own desktop snaps here.
