It’s the corporate clients that you have to worry about – on saturday, most of the premium sections were virtually empty – a sign of the times… the problem with croke park is that it’s too big and with the heart and sole of the stadium shut off (hill 16), there’s no real hardcore section to keep things going constantly.
A nice compact stadium with the fans on top of the pitch generates atmosphere – just like the old landsdowne..
