One year ago, Man Utd beat Chelsea in Moscow to be crowned kings of europe for the first time in 10 years and only the 3rd time in their history.
Today, Man Utd are 90 minutes away from writing themselves in to the history books yet again and becoming one of the greatest sides of all time.

The opponents are another glamour side in Barcelona. Like Utd, Barcelona have traditionally under performed in the Champions League winning it just twice in 1992 and 2006.
Neither side will want to lose today and we should see them both go for broke right from the start. Barcelona are fragile in defence but their ability to stretch games is unrivalled. They’re a dangerous side to play against as they always seem to make and find space.
Utd will be hoping their power and strength will be enough to fend off Barcelona. Utd are undoubtedly favourites in my mind. It’s being billed as the Ronaldo -v- Messi show but my money is on Wayne Rooney stealing the show. He’s been in superb this season and has taken over from Ronaldo as being utd’s most influential player in my opinion.
When it comes to line ups, this would be my starting 11;
Van Der Saar
O Shea | Ferdinand | Vidic | Evra
Ronaldo | Carrick | Scholes | Park | Rooney
Tevez
Ferguson likes Anderson and could well have him start above Scholes but i feel that would be a mistake, given what Scholes did to Barcelona last year.
Giggs and Berbatov will also want a starting place but neither deserve it. They are big game players to take off the bench though if needed…
Whatever happens, we’re guaranteed a feast of football tonight.
