I mentioned during the week i was going away somewhere (with my girlfriend as she’s on her holidays from work)… we’d planned on going to Dublin for two nights…
We’re no strangers to hotels
At this stage, we’ve stayed in The Morgan, The Conrad, The Comfort Inn Smithfield, The Clarion IFSC, Hilton Kilmainham. That’s just in Dublin!
All bar the Clarion IFSC have been value for money. It was just a plain 3 star hotel in ’4 star luxury’ disguise which lacked attention to detail and cost a bomb because of it’s location and the fact it had a pool.
This time, we’re staying for one night in The Morrisson Hotel, on Tuesday (3 days away) . It’s always been a hotel i’ve had my eye on… (you’ll see why in a minute…). I’ve booked a Studio Room at €205/night just for the room
HOWEVER… these rooms have in-built ipod docks… they also have Mac PC’s with LCD’s, wireless keyboard & mouse along with a regular LCD TV. Broadband is free too…
For her they have mini GHD straighteners (essential)
Plus i’ve ordered chocolates for the room on arrival, so we’ll both be happy
So this should be, by far and away, the best hotel room we’ve ever stayed in
