I’m always playing about with plugins and little tweaks here and there on this blog.
I’ve just added an ‘advertise‘ page and re-jigged the page order at the top.
Things have gone stale at PayPerPost so i figured why not allow readers to advertise directly. The prices are cheap, with a $20 ‘smemon special’ getting you a text ad, image ad and a paid review.
Anyway, i’m also trying to slot in something to a space in the footer, i’m looking at a few options but i’m still not sure… more on that later anyway.
I’ve moved my blogroll up to the sidebar (used to be in the footer) to accomodate a growing list of bloggers who are looking for link exchanges with me.
I’ve also added back the top commentators widget i used to have… i removed it deliberately for a while to see what sort of effect it would have on speed, plus to see if it actually did effect comment numbers and the fact i’m adding it back in shows you it helps increase comments and no, it doesn’t slow down the sidebar any 
I guess it’s the whole ‘new year’ thing kicking in… most people join a gym or stop eating crap for a while… i try to organise my cables and surround system, plus fine tune my blog. Oh jesus, i’m a geek
