Work

pimping my blog is hard work

I’ve failed to complete Wednesday’s timetabled jobs. That’s down to this new theme as i’ve been playing with it all day.

I’m trying to get custom bullet points integrated into the CSS file which is proving tricky. I also messed about with layouts and link colours only to revert back to the default as i thought it wasn’t looking any better

The feedback is all good so far which is nice. It’s very strange logging on to my blog and seeing the new theme as i’ve literally spent the last year, day in day out staring at the old one

So i’ve been held up with this new theme, only to be expected i suppose. But once i get it straightend out the novelty will wear off and i can have more time to work on other things

    Nice theme …. well done!

One thing that looks strange on my IE7 is that the right column starts way down the side …. it looks ok in FireFox.

thanks LB, there are a few errors according to w3.org.. the css is valid but the xhtml returns 20 errors or so so i’ll pick them off one by one.

    I think this image : http://www.smemon.com/wp-content/themes/smemon.com/images/nav-bg.png
should be a bit brighter. And maybe the image http://www.smemon.com/wp-content/themes/smemon.com/images/footer.png should be changed too, to make the pot clearer and the bottom bar lighter too.

yeah becky i see where you’re coming from. Initially it was lighter but i wanted it darkened as it was too distracting/blinding imo.

i must try messing about with colour combinations though, soften it a bit..
