Well, i completed all of my tasks last week – my tactics were spot on. The fear factor worked. I’ve no doubt, had i not put my weeks wages on the line, i would still be running JPEGr on my old server, definitely wouldn’t have got another Agloco signup and more than likely wouldn’t have pushed myself to get a basic design worked out for BeerChief. (We’re currently running a contest to jazz it up a little).
So in my opinion, this is the best way to get things done. I’m literally being my own boss. On Sunday, i set down the weeks work. And during the week, i must complete that work. Failure to do so means i don’t get paid. Ingenius
This weeks tasks:
- Add 5 posts to woodfloorfitters.ie – i’m hoping to top google for a few keywords, so i’ll be posting at least 5 SEO’d posts on floor related stuff.
- Add at least 3 posts to yourseoniche.com – i must discover keyword niches and try to SEO a post to rank highly on google for that keyword niche.
- Get at least one direct Agloco signup – TeeJ saved my backside last week (thanks TeeJ
), so i’ll be looking for someone else to do the same this week
- Re-order my n95 – mobilefun.co.uk don’t ship to Ireland (even though they say they do and took my money
), so i’ll have to find alternatives this week.
- Blog at least once a day on this blog – again shouldn’t be a problem as i do it anyway, but just to make sure, i’ve put it down as a task.
- Review my dinner one evening.. – John Chow often posts pictures and reviews of his 5 course meals out in fancy designer restaurants.. i’ll show i’m more down to earth than that
- Backup all my music and files and do a hard-drive spring clean. I’m dangerously close to max capacity on my 100gb HD on the laptop, time to get rid of the rubbish and offload everything to the external hardrive – it’s been months since i’ve done that.
So there we go. That should keep me busy. A total of 15 blog posts, ordering a phone, getting someone to join Agloco and cleaning my computer. This could possibly be my last week as a part-time internet entrepreneur, so week #3 is when i’ll really start to pile on the work as i become a full time internet entrepreneur.
As usual, failure to complete any of the above tasks, will result in that weeks online earnings being donated to charity
I would say, ‘wish me luck’, but i’m so confident i’ll do this, i don’t think i even need the luck
I just can’t seem to back down from challenges, so by challenging myself and making the challenge public, i’m putting myself under pressure and for some reason, i love pressure situations
