Here in Ireland, Ebay.ie and An post have created a new service:
Which offers ebay sellers discounts on postage.. it doesn’t actually say what sort of savings you make, and you have to apply by filling out an application form, but for regular ebay sellers, it can only help save a few bucks in postage 
I haven’t actually sold anything on ebay yet, i’ve bought 27 things since i signed up last year 
Everything from usb powered vacuum cleaners to memory cards, to chrome cable ties to windscreen wipers
