Having decided to sell JPEGr, the next few days will be spent on purely on that…
Putting it on auction sites, responding to questions, providing screenshots etc.. at the minute the site is down and there’s a few issues that need sorting so that’s wonderful timing 
Once all is sorted, i’ll put it on sitepoint and hopefully get a quick sale as i don’t want this to drag on for weeks.
If i don’t get anywhere near my asking price, i’ll hang on to it and get a dedicated server for a couple of months.. the PR will increase and i can then sell more ads or sell it at a higher asking price. So that’s my backup plan. But ideally, i’d like to sell it now and get the cash in for BeerChief.
I’ve had a few people interested already which is nice.. most have been put off by the price though. I’ve settled for a BIN of $1250. That’s based on what similar sites have gone for and also based on the domain name, design, script, PR, traffic, brandability etc..
I may regret this in the future, but then again a $1000+ investment in BeerChief could really kick start it. BeerChief is a unique site which i’ll be taking from my dreams into reality so i’d rather see investment in it rather than hang on to JPEGr and possibly run it at loss.
Anyway, i can’t keep up my usual 3 or 4 blog posts a day this week, as i’ll be focusing on getting JPEGr sold. It sucks, but it’s all in the name of BeerChief so you guys will understand
