I bought 13 domain names over the last few days, 11 sites will be going up in total over the next couple of weeks/months.

I’ve now got the hosting sorted out (changed all the nameservers) and installed and modified wordpress on all domains.

I now need to pimp out each site with it’s own theme and plugins etc.. but i’ve done things like change the permalink structure, add an ‘about’ page, sync the time, delete the default blogroll & ‘hello world’ post…. basically cut the crap out of wordpress and have it ready for serious use.

That took literally hours. But that’s by in large the ‘dirty work’ done. Now all i have to do is write and pick a design which is the fun part. That will take some time also.

I think it was a wise step buying in bulk as it means i’m now working on the sites in bulk and looking at them as a ‘team’, whereas with a normal site, it’s just on it’s own and i can sort of forget about it or ignore it if i want.
