June coming to an end..

It’s hard to believe June is now at an end.. Tomorrow is July 1st.

June was my first FULL month as a free agent. And i’ve recovered well from Adsense banning me. In fact, this month has been better than a few i had WITH adsense  So i’ve done a decent job replacing adsense.

Anyway, i’ve cleaned up JPEGr, added content consistently to mygadgetinfo and kept up my now infamous 2/3/4 blog posts PER DAY. I also made a bebo profile for BeerChief it’s now being used by a few people so that’s nice as it’s free exposure.. i’ll probably make one or two more in July.

We’ve started work on BeerChief‘s coding and drafted up a few sample profiles. I’ve also drafted up terms and conditions and a privacy policy – easier said than done, let me assure you. Hiring a legal team to do that for us would have cost a fortune.. i’ve studied similar sites policies and believe i have BeerChief covered in all scenarios. Our age verification page also plays a huge role as it will quite literally act as bouncers on the door to prevent minors from entering.

Anyway, i’ll give a full summary of June earnings tomorrow..

I’m now on meteor…

Yesterday, i made the switch to Meteor..

I also have to say i convinced 7 other people to switch from o2  I understand meteor have about 20% market share of the mobile networks. Don’t be surprised to see that figure rise to 30% soon.

Advantages over o2?

  • 300 webtexts (o2 give you 250)
  • FREE to call a best friend FOR LIFE
  • FREE meteor -meteor texts FOR LIFE
  • FREE to receive a call in the UK
  • Cheaper romaing rates when in the UK.
  • Cheaper texts than o2 (9c compared to 11 or 13c)
  • Cheaper calls overall… flat rates of 20c/25c to anywhere/anytime..

They’re some of the reasons i switched. o2, if you’re listening, the only way you’ll win us back is by beating meteor, not by matching them.

I have to shame o2 here and they’re sneaky tactics… they tried to keep me on o2 by giving me a 20c anytime tariff.. it’s not available to the general public, basically they only give you it in a last ditch attempt to keep your custom.

No thanks o2, by doing that you just gave me another reason to switch – sneakyness/greedyness.

Today’s Post..

I love getting packages and parcels in the post. I think i have an addiction  There’s nothing like the feeling of getting a package through the door or having to sign for a big brown box.. It’s almost like being a kid at Christmas time.

So today i got an envelope and a big brown box.. yes, it was that motorola v3i i ordered. Delivered less than 24 hours after i was last talking to meteor – that shows the sort of pressure i put them under

I’d been waiting 2 weeks on this phone to arrive for my girlfriend.. her last one got flooded

Here’s a few pics.. the razr phones are very girly, perfect to go alone with a nano ipod or something like that.. her last razr was a hot pink v3. This one is a lighter pink v3i with video recording and mp3 player, expandable micro sd slot etc.. so a few little upgrades. It will do the job grand for what she wants it for..

One thing i hate about these phones is the screen. It’s too reflective and the camera/video look mode makes it look like you’re viewing the screen through a really bad pair of glasses. It’s grand for text messages or whatever, but woeful for images/video imo..

Anyway, in the envelope were my Justin Timerlake concert tickets for London. So a nice Friday morning of post for me

Religion – fact or fiction?

I came across an interesting video here (i think it was on digg).. about religion :???: not something i’d usually watch or take interest in..

Anyway, there’s some very real evidence in this to suggest that the whole god/jesus thing is a myth and is in fact based on relationships between stars and the sun.

Have a look, you can’t really argue with anything in the video as it’s all fact based – it’s not too often you can say that about religious documentaries/films..

Some excellent points here and i would have loved to test out my religion teacher at school with this… who is a priest by the way

Henman’s Wiki Profile..

Here’s something i spotted earlier, straight after he lost (shock horror) in the 2nd round at wimbledon.

I’ve boxed off all the edited stuff, I particularly like his playing style; “Hit and Hope”
