$1000 target for March

Equalling or topping last month’s revenue, even for an optimist like me, is unrealistic

So in order to get myself focused and back on the money train, i need a more do-able target. I’m gonna set a goal of $1000 for March. A nice round figure.

Despite the lack of bidding on my ebook auction, i had a private offer of $650 almost straight away, which i rejected, wanting $700. The bidder still hasn’t got back to me on that. I’ve also had another unnofficial offer of $700 which i accepted, we’ll see how that goes.

Even if i don’t sell 40waystomakemoney.com, i still reckon i can hit the $1k by other means. I’ll probably make a few individual sales of the ebook this month.

I then have about 4 ‘nothing’ domains which i haven’t done anything with, and i hope to make sites out of them, polish them up and sell them on.

I also have a few blogs left over from my blog network, so i hope to get rid of those too… i may then sit down and write another ebook to try an gain some quick revenue.

I have the last 2 weeks in march off college, so i should get an awful lot of work done then *fingers crossed*.

I’m going to try and use those 2 weeks as a ‘test’ to see if i can make enough money online to replicate that of a traditional part time job. This will be a good indication of whether or not i can survive all summer purely through my work online. I’ll need about $200 per week to live comfortably and not get in to debt or create problems (i.e. paying for a holiday, car upkeep etc…).

That’s very much do-able, but it’s just a case of planning and organizing myself. Ideally, i’d have my new office in by the summer also, so come then, i’d be at maximum productivity levels

Although i do like money, and i’d have no problem spending any amount of it… i’m really not too concerned about living on the breadline for a few years… not if i’m investing cleverly; financially and time-wise. College is an investment. So too is BeerChief an investment, it has robbed me of my comfort money, but the bright lights and gold plated streets of web 2.0 success is just too tempting. I’ve been sucked in to this world, and now that i’m here, i ain’t comin out until i’m better off than i was when i went in
